How to Install Webmin on Ubuntu 26.04

To install Webmin on Ubuntu 26.04, add the official repo script, then open port 10000.

Step 1 : Update.

sudo apt update

Step 2 : Add the repository.

curl -o /tmp/webmin-setup-repo.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/webmin/webmin/master/webmin-setup-repo.sh
sudo sh /tmp/webmin-setup-repo.sh

Step 3 : Install Webmin.

sudo apt install webmin

Step 4 : Check status.

sudo systemctl status webmin

Step 5 : Allow the UI port.

sudo ufw allow 10000/tcp

Step 6 : Open the UI. The certificate is self-signed.

https://192.168.1.50:10000

Log in with a system user, then Sign In.
